Figure Skater Hip Flexor Stretch
Workouts with no music
•
7m 31s
This stretch was designed for the figure skaters I teach who have tension in their hips and low back. Using a chair, light weights and a mat we will focus on all the areas in and around the hips and in particular the psoas. The goal is to rebalance this area to improve performance while reducing injuries. Even though it's designed with figure skaters in mind, anyone who is feeling hip and low back pain can do this small sequence to find some relief.
